RESTYLANE DEFYNE®

One of the most common signs of aging is laugh lines. These lines form in varying degrees of severity ranging from fine lines around the mouth to more severe folds known as nasolabial folds. At Stillwaters MedSpa in Pensacola, FL, we offer RESTYLANE DEFYNE, a dermal filler from the Restylane collection that will help treat and correct your laugh lines and create smooth, softer-looking wrinkle-free skin.

What Is RESTYLANE DEFYNE?

RESTYLANE DEFYNE is a Restylane dermal filler created with XpresHAn Technology™ which uses cross-linking technology to restore the signs of youth to aging skin in the most natural way possible. The hyaluronic acid within this injectable is formulated in such a way that when injected, it creates subtle improvements in laugh lines but also allows you to express as you would normally so that you still look like yourself.

What Does It Treat?

RESTYLANE DEFYNE treats laugh lines and nasolabial folds, the lines that form with aging and run from the outer corners of your nose to the outer corners of your mouth. It is injected deep into the epidermis to add volume beneath the skin to plump laugh lines and smooth wrinkles from the inside out.

What Happens During Treatment?

During treatment, your injector will administer this Restylane filler with an ultra-fine needle. Injection appointments typically take anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes in total. This injectable contains lidocaine, a mild pain-killer that helps alleviate any discomfort during and after the injection.

How Long Does It Take to Notice Results?

Once injected with RESTYLANE DEFYNE, you will see an immediate improvement in your laugh lines. Your skin will appear smoother and softer.

How Long Do Results Last?

After your initial injection, you can expect to maintain your results for up to 12 months. Once your injector develops a personalized treatment plan based on your needs, you will get a better idea of how many injections you need to get the results you are looking for, and how often you should schedule treatments to get the best results.

What Are the Aftercare Instructions?

During the 24 hours following your injection, you need to avoid excessive sun exposure as well as any form of strenuous exercise. During your initial consultation, you can discuss the complete aftercare instructions with your injector to ensure that you get the best results possible.

Who Is It Right For?

The best candidates for RESTYLANE DEFYNE® are healthy adults over the age of 22 who want a temporary yet long-lasting solution that will treat their laugh lines. During your initial consultation with one of our experienced injectors, we will review your health history and discuss your concerns to determine if this injectable is right for your specific problem areas. Those who are temporarily disqualified from treatment due to safety precautions include:

  • Pregnant and nursing women
  • Those with severe allergic reactions
  • Individuals with active acne, infections, skin sores, rashes, hives, or cysts in the planned treatment area
  • Those currently taking immunosuppressants
  • Individuals with a history of scarring
  • Those who have very recently undergone a chemical peel or laser treatment
