I love Still Waters and have come in several times in the past for different types of massages, however, this was my least favorite visit. My husband purchased a gift certificate for me, and I was excited to redeem it today for my birthday. Before the session, my massage therapist informed me that she has allergies, but I had no idea just how severe it was. I signed up to receive an 85 min classic massage, and my therapist coughed throughout the ENTIRE session. Also, the coughs were not covered. I am unsure if this is an ongoing issue for this therapist or if it was just at its worse today but definitely something that should have been addressed by management. I know this might seem minor to some, but as a loyal paying customer it is currently flu season, therefore all precautions should be taken especially during this time to protect the therapist as well as the guest. If the roles were reversed with me being the therapist and my guest was coughing in my face during the entire session, I would probably recommend that the session be rescheduled. I am not sure if it was just the therapist or the room we were in but I was completely congested and my eyes were watery by the end of the session. My husband even questioned why I sounded so congested considering I have never had this issue in the past. Not how I wanted to end my birthday. Overall, I would definitely recommend Still Waters, but I suggest maybe requiring that particular therapist to get the medications that are needed going forward if her allergies are that severe or management should not allow her to assist any clients until she is feeling better. My husband was told that the GM was not in office today and the managers were in a meeting so he would be contacted by management on Monday. We hope to hear from someone soon.
